Matt Hancock should resign.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

It has been proved that Matt Hancock has lied time and time again.
Matt Hancock said that. 'An invisible shield has put round care homes. ' You speak to anyone in a care home and they say it's not true. Matt Hancock has clearly shown time and time again. I don't usually call for a resignation of a Government minister. But hearing that around 16,000 people have died in care homes is tragic. The UK has the highest death toll. Highest excess deaths in Europe. This is clearly not good enough and he should resign asap.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked, resign or for a vote of no confidence.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
