Petition · past parliament

We want the wearing of face masks/ covers to be made compulsory outside

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

A lot of people are not adhering to the present two metre rule when out in public, putting people’s lives at risk from infection from Covid 19.
Therefore by making face masks/ coverings compulsory will result in reducing cross infection. This should be enforceable by law.
I live in a local Herefordshire town and every time I go out I notice people are not adhereing to the two metre rule. Both myself and my friends have been verbally abused and coughed at when asking people
To move away.
By making face coverings compulsory will reduce infection when in close contact.
