What the petition asks

To request the Cabinet Office undertakes an investigation into the conduct of the Prime Minister's Senior Advisor Dominic Cummings in respect of the Coronavirus regulations, his role in relation to the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) and his relationship with the UK Civil Service.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We cannot accept petitions calling for actions relating to the conduct of individual employees. Decisions about these matters are for individual employers to take in line with employment law and the employer’s HR policies.
