Rejected

What the petition asks
The Barbering & Hairdressing industry to be properly regulated. It should be part of the insurance process. Insurance companies should ask for certificates on application, & these being checked against the records of City & Guilds or the Training & Enterprise Council before insurance is granted.
Shop owners asking for proof of qualification & insurance before a stylist/barber being able to start. This also being in the owners public liability making it void if not met.
Non UK workers:
Insurer's have knowledge of other countries qualification systems & this being checked against the records in the country of origin or public liability not being granted.
Any of the above mentioned found going against regulations should be heavily fined & be struck off from working in the industry.
