What the petition asks

The Government must do whatever is necessary to rebuild public trust and confidence that they are willing and able to manage the current and future consequences of the CV19 virus without undue loss of lives or they should step down and allow the British people to choose a Government that can
Public confidence in the Government’s commitment to protecting the population during the Covid 19 pandemic has been severely shaken by allegations that a very senior figure in Government circles breached the lockdown guidance. The Government's response is inadequate. Millions of people who have dutifully followed Government instructions now feel completely let down as it appears that the rules only apply to the general public and not in the Government's inner circle putting everyone at risk.
