Ban the sale of disposable BBQs
Rejected
21 signatures
What the petition asks
To make it illegal for the sale of disposable BBQs to the general public.
Despite being in the midst of a pandemic, the hot weather has brought people out to beaches & beauty spots. Many have brought disposable BBQs with them which have led to fires & valuable resources being diverted to tackle the aftermath.
These are often left to smoulder unwatched meaning children stand on them causing burns & wildlife can get trapped in the mesh.
They are another source of unwanted litter picked up by volunteers, please ban them completely from sale in shops and elsewhere.
