End the lockdown for zoos across the UK by the end of June 2020

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

Zoos are struggling to survive during the pandemic and their work is incredibly important to conservation and the protection of endangered animals. They are mainly outside venues and are able to provide social distancing in a safe and responsible way. The lockdown for them needs to end.
Without serious support, our zoos will not survive meaning that thousands of species will suffer at our hands. Zoos are able to provide a safe place for the public during the pandemic and there’s little reason as to why they remain closed when people are flocking to beaches where social distancing isn’t being controlled.
