Allow zoos to reopen with a reduced number of visitors.

What the petition asks
If it is safe for pubs and restaurants to open then it is perfectly safe for zoos. Allow the zoos to implement measures to keep social distancing and reduce the number of daily visitors. The government is allowing beaches to open with no control over numbers. A safe day at the zoo is possible.
Keeping the zoos closed as a blanket decision is wrong. Give them a chance to prove they can keep social distancing guidelines. Allow them a chance to avoid bankruptcy and allow the people of this country a day out other than sitting on a packed beach or over populated park.
