What the petition asks
Put a stop to the use, deployment, and training, of horses by all British police forces. Especially in protest and riot situations. There should be no more equine crowd control. It puts the animals in unnecessary danger, and needs to stop.
Recent protests have shown that the police cannot use horses for crowd control without putting the the animals in harms way. For the protection of of animals that are hurt easily, and spook easily, their use must end. The use of animals for crowd control is cruel, and unnecessary in a modern world.
