What the petition asks

This petition is to amend the Treason act to include the Burning of the Union Jack. This would apply to all British Realms.

This was brought up after a video circulating on Facebook of a man attempting to burn the Union Jacks on the War memorial. I believe that the burning of our Great flag is traitorous and directly going against this great nation.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: Make it a specific offence to desecrate national flags, symbols and monuments
