What the petition asks
All UK taxi, PCO and Private Hire Drivers Must be allowed to take necessary measures to keep themselves and their passengers safe from Corona Virus.
Drivers must be allowed to install a driver-isolation sheet in their cars for their own safety and for the safety of their passengers. Drivers should also be allowed to have no more than 3 riders.
Councils around the UK are preventing drivers from making changes to their vehicles and how they operate during the outbreak. The Government must stop this and require local authorities to allow cab drivers to take necessary Covid-19 measures.
