Reopen all zoo’s on June 15th with covid-19 social distancing rules.

What the petition asks

Zoo’s need our help and are struggling to stay above water with everything that has been going on due to coronavirus. Innocent animals are starving and will have to be put down if zoo’s aren’t reopened ASAP. If none essential shops can be reopened then so can an outdoor spacious zoo.
Chester zoo has stated that 97% of their income comes from paying customers. 35,000 different species of animals are now in danger. OPEN UP ZOOS ASAP!!

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

The Government's list of businesses that are allowed to open now states that outdoor areas of, zoos, safari parks, wildlife centres and other animal attractions are all allowed to open: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/further-businesses-and-premises-to-close/further-businesses-and-premises-to-close-guidance
