What the petition asks

To make all monuments in England, including London, National Treasures. No Monument of any historical figure is to be defaced, removed or desecrated without prior parliamentary approval.
Conviction of offense should be punishable, up to and including incarceration and financially responsibility.
No local official can make a determination without approval from Parliament. The landmarks of this great country have been under attack. Tourism being our largest revenue stream, these monuments shall not be disturbed without an exceptional reason.
