What the petition asks
The Black Rights Movement has been highlighting the racial inequality within America and the need for change. But in the UK acts of violence against Police along with destroying and vandalism of statues has overshadowed the protests. those involved in violence and vandalism must be prosecuted.
I want this to happen because to allow for people to freely vandalize statues close to Britain's heart and attack those who protect us is wrong and must be punish with the full weight of the law
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions on whether to arrest and prosecute alleged offenders is a matter for local police forces and the Crown Prosecution Service, not the UK Government or Parliament.
