What the petition asks
To build a statue that shows we are together whatever race you are
To show we are equal and no body should be treated differently as we all fought together
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The Government is not responsible for erecting statues. This is a matter for individual local authorities and private property owners.
