Change the way The Self employed income support grants are calculated

Closed 17 signatures

What the petition asks

Only include full years Of Self-employment and those that actually contain trading profits in the years in calculated.
The self employed have been left in dreadful financial situations as a result of flawed unfair calculations of their average income. If you have filed trading profits for a whole year’s worth of Self-employment it works well. But as it stands anyone who has filed a tax year which was not a full year is being unfairly penalised. As it brings the average Monthly income down dramatically meaning the grant is no where near 80% the Chancellor’s office states we are entitled to.
