Prevent imports of chlorinated and hormone treated foods to the United Kingdom

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

Ensure that chlorinated chicken and hormone treated meat is not able to be imported via new trade deals and place this decision with the people in future.
This government has used pandemic and civil demonstrations as a cover for its majority in parliament to enact changes to our food standards. The reason is to entice a greater trade deal from the United States. Our standards are the envy of the world and our farming must be protected at all costs. This is not the area in which change should be brought, health and nutrition in the UK needs to improve and not the opposite.
