What the petition asks
Scrap the SATs tests for the coming academic year and replace them with teacher predictions.
The Covid-19 pandemic has severely disrupted the education of so many children this year. I just feel they will be severely disadvantaged throughout the remainder of their educational life if the SATs tests go ahead in their current format. So many of our youngsters will have huge gaps in their Education as a result.
I know parents should be home schooling but, sadly, not all parents are educationally or emotionally suited to the requirements of such a mammoth task.
