Petition · past parliament

Leave our monuments and statues alone. History must be understood not erased.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Ensure that our national monuments and statues are left alone and not vandalised or removed in response to the hysterical protests of a very small vocal minority.
Because local government is not effectively accountable to the people and is acting in response to media hype rather than the real expectations of the electorate. No monuments or statues should be removed with full and proper consultation of the whole local or national electorate as appropriate.
