Change The Law To Allow Genetic DNA Research To Progress Unsolved Murders

What the petition asks

Allow the use of Genetic DNA Research as in the USA Golden State Killer and other cases, to identify an offender of Historical Cold Case Murders and Rapes where there is evidence of DNA at crime scene and offender has not been identified through the National DNA Data Base.
There are a large amount of historical cold cases where there is a partial or full crime scene DNA sample which cannot be progressed through current conventional means. This could bring an offender hitherto unknown to justice and give the families of the victim closure.
