Allow for national debate and vote on the future of the statues and monuments.

What the petition asks
Parliament and the public should not be at the mercy of mob rule on the streets which have seen statues and monuments attacked and destroyed. There needs to be national consensus on the way forward.
I believe our national history is being attacked and eroded by a violent angry minority who are at odds with national feeling. I am concerned that councils and establishments across the UK are being bullied into making decisions.
