What the petition asks
I want the government to give all people who assault the police a mandatory prison sentence.
Assault on police is rising and the respect is dwindling. Officers sometimes have to deal with dangerous situations on there own. In many situations its lucky that offenders dont step over the line and assault them because more would get hurt and injured as they are often seriously out numbered.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
