What the petition asks
In the interests of transparency and democracy, the public should have the final say on any trade deal with the USA.
British voters want to take back control. We can't do that if decisions are made in secret behind closed doors.

The Government should release the full text of any trade deal between the USA and the UK before it is signed into force and before it is legally binding.
The text should be released in enough time for the public to be able to reasonably express their opinion on the deal via letters to their MP, petitions, campaigns, and so on.
