What the petition asks
Our children are being failed by not going back to school, when there is minimal risk to children of catching or spreading Covid-19.
The damage to our children’s mental health and education is far greater.
Schools and Teachers should be focussing on solutions to allow teaching for all.

Schools and Teachers should be focussing on solutions to allow teaching for all.
Schools and the teachers have a duty to teach all of our children. Underprivileged children are suffering disproportionately, however many children will be going through huge amounts of turmoil whilst in lockdown. How can it be that the priority is to re open pubs and restaurants, which carry a far greater risk of spreading the disease, given that people from many different locations can visit pubs and restaurants, however the schools will only have the same children from the same families everyday.
