UK to make illegal the selling of arms to Saudi Arabia, who are bombing Yemen

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

The UK government and BAE Systems should stop selling weapons and services to the Saudi military. All transactions should be made illegal.
Yemen is already experiencing a humanitarian crisis; along with the bombing which began in 2015 by Saudi Arabia, its citizens are being killed by the minute.
The UK is responsible for the death of tens of thousands of civilians and destruction of an already poor nation. Britain’s leading arms manufacturer BAE Systems have sold £15bn worth of arms and services to the Saudi military during the last five years.

“UK-made fighter jets and bombs are doing terrible damage in Yemen. The war has killed tens of thousands of people and depleted the healthcare system in a time of crisis.”
