Change the British Honours system to remove references to the British Empire.

What the petition asks
The honours system currently gives awards that are related to a colonial past. We are in the 21st Century and there is no British Empire. We need honours to represent Britain and the Commonwealth that is post colonial.
We would like Government to change the honours so they are reflective of modern Britain. Using honours such as Member of the British Empire are old fashioned at best and insulting to many.
