What the petition asks
We would like a bank holiday dedicated to Black History. To appreciate and celebrate black history in the Uk. To celebrate all the work black peoples have done to make Great Britain great.
We need the government to do this so that we can show that Great Britain celebrates all races. To show that we are a country of equality and diversity. To show respect to the people who came to this country with a promise that they would get equal rights if they help the country rebuild after the war. To be apart of the continuous improvement we are making to improve equality and diversity and racial discrimination. To continue in the fight against racism.
