Reverse the Decision to Scrap the Gender Recognition Act Consultation Results

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

We demand that you provide Acts and Laws based on information in regards to the individuals who exist, look into further protections and ways to provide help to a very vulnerable subset of people in the community, and provide better protections and rights to those people.
Only 1 in 132 people are trans and therefore one of the smallest group of people that experience a disproportionate level of discrimination and violence in the uk, along with mental health this can compound issues to a breaking point. We want a means to help this very small subset of people to be treated equally as everyone else. The consultation was overwhelmingly in support of trans people, these results need to be carried out and new guidelines applied as promised.
