Urgent public enquiry into media reporting coercing and misleading the public

What the petition asks
Public enquiry into why the media is no longer providing full truth and balance to events that occur here in the U.K. therefore misleading the general public.
Over my lifetime and those of my peers it feels quite apparent that the media is no longer providing full truth and balance to events that occur here in the U.K. therefore misleading the general public.
This adversely affects society and hinders our growth as U.K. citizens as we have an inability to gather the truth.
We ask the government to hold a public enquiry into this matter as this shouldn’t be an issue in 2020

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand you'd like an inquiry into the media, but we're not sure what you'd like it to examine in relation to allegedly misleading the public.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
