Provide funding and guidance to save apprenticeships during Covid-19

What the petition asks
I would like the government to support apprenticeship employers who are struggling as a result of COVID-19 to save as many apprentices from being made redundant. I would also like the government to issue guidelines for what employers can and can't do in regards to making apprentices redundant.
The government have been promoting apprenticeships across various industries in the UK however these are the first jobs to be cut when there are tough times. Apprentices being made redundant during their programmes will tend to struggle gaining employment as most will have not got their qualification yet.
