Give Marcus Rashford a knighthood.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Marcus Rashford has raised over £20 million for charity and has now successfully campaigned for 1.3 million children to retain their free school meal vouchers. His work will save lives. He is 22. Let's get Marcus onto the 2021 New Years Honours list.
The fantastic work that Marcus Rashford has done over the past 3 months will not only save lives, but will also encourage many of his fans, and people across the country, to fight for what they believe in. He has proven himself to be an exemplary role model and has asked for nothing in return. He deserves a knighthood.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept your petition because it asks for someone to be nominated for an honour.

Members of the public can nominate people for honours directly. You can find out how to nominate someone for an honour here: https://www.gov.uk/honours.
