Follow France's lead and ban supermarkets from throwing away or destroying unsold food, forcing them instead to donate it to charities and food banks
Throwing away or destroying unsold food that is perfectly good is so wasteful when food banks and charities are in need such great need.
No one should go hungry and this would help hugely to alleviate the hunger problems facing many families in the UK.
