What the petition asks

Create a UK Black Citizens Advisory Council. Its role will be to be proactive in communicating racism experienced by Black people in the U.K and find solutions to enable the Government to make the lives of UK Black citizens equal to everyone else.
When our Grand Parents arrived in the UK in the 50s and 60s. They were met with No Blacks, No Irish, No Dogs. Then in the 80s there were the Brixton riots due to social and economic disparity. We are now in the 21st Century and nothing has really changed. Black People are still more likely to be arrested and imprisoned, not placed in senior roles in the work place, prejudice observed in education, purchasing property, university placement, housing, medical needs, entertainment, media and more...
