What the petition asks
Cease all foreign and domestic Super Trawlers from operating in UK territorial waters permanently.
Super Trawlers significantly reduce the quota distribution available to a combined fishing fleet. Environmentally super trawlers destroy the habitats inclusive of fish migration. Super trawler also reduce the potential for individual business enterprise.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
