Prevent Yemen from becoming extinct by ending the war and lend aid to millions

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Yemen is fighting a global pandemic, a war and what is known as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis in 100 years, with 22 million set to die due to the famine alone. With COVID 19 and the ongoing war Yemen now more than ever is in need of our help. This can prevent a country from going extinct
In 2019 the government issued humanitarian support for millions in Yemen. However, the UK government continue to supply Saudi with the bombs, planes and expertise they require in order to maintain the war in Yemen. For the government to issue ‘support’ to the humanitarian issue in Yemen is not enough, the UK need to show support to Yemen and do everything in their power to end the war by cutting their supplies to Saudi which has allowed them to continue the war.As a nation we should be doing more!
