Create a permanent memorial to all the victims of Covid-19

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Create a permanent memorial for all the victims of Covid-19. I have lost my father a fit and active man to Covid-19. Although 75 he was was taken from us too soon, from falling ill to passing away 7 days later has had an enormous effect on the whole family, like so many others around the country.
As the representative of the Nation, Parliment should as we come out of this great tradey look to mark the passing of all those that have been taken too soon due to this awful pandemic. As the years pass the affected families will need somewhere that we can gather as a collective to remember the loved ones we have lost, ordinary people who were taken too soon. The Nation will need a focal point to express the grief we all feel and should never forget.
