Include the impact of fast fashion on the curriculum

What the petition asks
Change the curriculum to include the environmental impact of fast fashion. In lessons children should be taught the importance of repairing instead of re-buying and be educated on the air miles, water consumption and human suffering put into fast fashion.
The Conservative Manifesto promises they will "crack down on the waste and carelessness that destroys our environment" as well as tackles plastic pollution "both in the UK and internationally." Currently the fashion industry accounts for around 20% of wastewater and 10% of Co2 emissions. Change starts with education, therefore in order to live up to these promises, changes to the curriculum must be made.
