What the petition asks

Allow Cosmetic Tattoo Artists to go back to work from the 4th of July.

As a Cosmetic Tattoo artist we are used to working to a very high hygienic standard. We wear full PPE and have a very strict clean down policy after each client before Covid 19. We work in a clinical environment with no soft furnishings and use medical grade disinfectant after each client. We are used to dealing with blood and are trained on blood born pathogens.
We work on one client at a time rather than two like hairdressers.
We are more equipped and trained than hairdressers to go back to work safely.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

We have already published this petition calling for the same action: Allow Salons and Tattoo parlors to open at same time as hairdressers
