Allow UK Tattoo Studios to open on the 4th July

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Tattoo Artists make up a huge part of the self employed population and currently we’re not allowed to work. We have vast knowledge on cross contamination risks and thorough medical grade cleaning regimes already in place as well as relevant PPE. We need to make rent & feed our families. Let us work.
The government have allowed pubs, restaurants, hair dressers and barbers to reopen with social distancing an visors from the 4th July
If you’re cutting someone’s hair you’re not a metre away are you. yet tattoo studios, spas and nail bars aren’t legally allowed to open.

This is discriminatory. If you stand in Poundland with 30+ people for 30 minutes the ques are long with the same air circulating you’re far more likely to contract covid there than in a tattoo studio. Let us work!
