Reconsider the date of reopening for tattoo and piercing studios

What the petition asks
As the UK slowly reopens, tattoo studios have been left behind. I hope the government can reassess the risk to the public and artists by communicating with studios, learning about the industry & about what shops are going to do to minimise infection risk while being able to work.
Tattoo studios are already equipped with the necessary PPE or have ordered in what extras they need in order to protect their clients and themselves & are ready to reopen. We use single-use equipment. Studios can be locked to deter any ‘walk-in’ enquiries & stations are generally distanced already. Clients & artists will be wearing masks and visors and observe the hygiene rules tattoo shops already follow. The industry would be able to reopen with no more risk to the public than a haircut.
