More skateparks in smaller parts of the highlands, preferred near dingwall.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Build more skateparks for youth, instead of getting Into trouble for scooting, skating etc in places we are not supposed, dingwall is a small place and there is nothing to do, a skatepark would be a huge plus for everyone.
Everyones so bored in dingwall and surrounding areas, there is inverness and Muir of orde skatepark but it always packed to the brim full of older people who dont move etc, they're there from morning till late night, need a smaller skatepark that isnt going to get destroyed so easily.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Building skateparks in certain areas would be a matter for local councils, and providing additional funding for them would be a matter for the Scottish Government, not the UK Government or Parliament.
