Grey squirrels should be protected by the government

What the petition asks
The law bans grey squirrels from being released into the wild, meaning many are having to be put down. It's cruel and disgusting
Greys bring joy in people's gardens. They are funny to watch. I suffer with anxiety. Having the squirrels outside my garden each morning brings a smile to my face. Squirrels can actually help plant new trees when they forget where they buried their nuts – studies have shown this can lead to oak forest regeneration.
