What the petition asks

Make MLM companies illegal in the uk, these companies are set up to fail people in the lower sections of the company and the products are used as a decoy to hide that the company has a pyramid scheme format.

MLM’s prey on vulnerable people and can earn income by recruiting people. 97% of people in MLMs fail and don’t earn back what they have put into the company. The true customers in a MLM are the people who work for them as their products aren’t easily available for the public without signing up.

Social media is used as a marketing tool and creates toxic positivity to lure people in whilst exaggerating the truth. There are more chances of being successful in a pyramid scheme than most MLMs.
