Support provision of lipreading and hearing aid friendly face masks

What the petition asks

I want the Government to support the development and production of a lipreading and hearing aid friendly face mask, which could be used by the public and key workers such as the NHS.
Most face coverings in use during the pandemic can impede communication with people who rely on lipreading or hearing aids. The Government should therefore support the development of new face masks which are lipreading and hearing aid friendly, so that these can be provided to the NHS.
