Improve measures to compel the PM to address untruths stated at the Dispatch Box

What the petition asks
Ensure that there is a revised process to scrutinise the PM’s statements following PMQs, based upon submissions of complaint from MPs presented to the Speaker that show the PM may have misled the House or misrepresented a position. The Speaker then invites the PM to address this at the following PMQ
The PM consistently misrepresents and states untruths at the Dispatch Box during PMQs. This is unacceptable and the Speaker should be able to seek a response at the subsequent PMQs from the PM to either justify or correct his previous statements made where it is shown to be untrue.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. MPs are already able to raise issues with the Speaker using Points of Order. If they are concerned that a Member has lied in Parliament, MPs can raise this with the Speaker or on a substantive debate in the Commons.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
