Extend the current help to buy scheme in the England due to delays from COVID-19

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Due to Covid-19 many UK New build Developments are now 3 months behind in building new homes, this means that now there are less home which are going to be ready for the completion date of December 31st to proceed on the current help to buy scheme.
I believe that the current help to buy scheme needs to be extended to cover lost time which had set hundreds of home release dates back this year due to the Coronavirus and lockdown. As acknowledged by the Scottish government who has extended there current scheme. After speaking most of the UKs market leading developers. They have stated the same thing, that they have and hundreds of people called everyday saying either there sales/reservations are falling through due to the delays on building.
