As of the 8th July 2020, in the U.K., Public Health Officers have been given the power to remove children (amongst other things) if they are not definitely, but ‘potentially infectious’!!

Are you seriously OK with this????

I’d also like to refer you back to 30th June, when the CDC have announced that the test, does NOT just test for covid but all coronavirus’ including the common cold.

Are you going to allow your children to be traumatised for a cold?

Are you seriously telling me, that if this is a highly infectious disease, the whole family unit wouldn’t be infected. So why would you remove any one member of a family?

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Children are not being detained and there are no plans to detain children. In most cases, medical treatment and testing already needs parental consent. We therefore don't know what you want to happen.
