What the petition asks

I would like for Government or parliament to pass legislation, making it legal for employees (where applicable, especially that of an office environment) To have a choice whether they work from home or not, dis allowing / making it illegal for employers to penalise or dismiss those that wish to

Giving people this flexibility will not only boost employment figures , it will also help the economy to become stable more quickly. It will also help working parents , with childcare issues (a group being amongst one of those hit the hardest when lockdown was introduced) studies have shown that employees working from home, are much more productive,compared to those working within the office. Working at home reduces the infection rate of the current virus along with any future virus’

Why it was rejected

Require suitable businesses offer remote & flexible working to employees
