Prevent the government from removing free travel for children under 18 in London

What the petition asks
Buried in the detail of the Government bailout for TFL is a requirement to end free travel for under-18s. A shameful policy that will primarily affect the very poorest families in our capital city. Don’t let this government target young people in making them pay for this Covid crisis.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has already stated his position against this policy by the Transport secretary. If local government hasn’t got the power to protect its young people we must move to the government to prevent this shameful measure.
