Introduce fact checking as a compulsory part of the education curriculum

What the petition asks
Please introduce fact checking as a specific, compulsory part of the education curriculum, in a similar way to that of the Swedish and Finnish education systems. Current provisions in computing and citizenship courses are not extensive enough.
Both social media and mainstream media (MSM) offer a huge amount of information. How do we identify what is fact and what is fake? Fake viral stories from social media and MSM are a known issue that we're not currently equipped to deal with, this sort of critical thinking is important for the future generations to be equipped with to be able to examine a piece of information, examine the source and decide for themselves or from independent sources, whether it's fact or fake.
